This morning I wanted to find a quintessential Australian image to share with you to celebrate Australia Day - and then this evening as I was taking the clothes off the clothesline I saw this scene, the setting sun through the bush that runs down to the river from the cottage and a blue singlet drying on the line strung between two gum trees. {A Hills Hoist would have really been Aussie-as but alas I don't have one}.

What could be more Aussie than a Jackie Howe???

I also loved the way the light was hitting the billowing sheets and making them glow. Simple but pretty.
