Hello. I'm Emma.
I live with the lovely Mr M, my little dog Tessa and our working dogs Lily and Pippa on a sheep and potato farm, Brindabella, in the rolling green hills of Gippsland. I am a photographer by trade, an aunty to four, a sister to three, a daughter to two, a fiance to one, a crafty soul at birth, born in the spring of '86 and addicted to tea.

I love sewing, baking, gardening, (not so much cleaning) - the typical 'generation y' woman right??! I grew up right here in beautiful Thorpdale with dreams of moving to the big city, but still marrying the boy next door. I spent the better part of my earlier years 'baking' mud pies for my imaginary family, playing mothers and fathers with my cat dressed in a bonnet and perched next to my mum watching her sew. After university in the big city I followed my highschool sweetheart to Murrindindi, there we fell in love with the land, farming, our rural lifestyle and each other. These days I daydream way too much about a big old farmhouse with a golden retriever and a porch swing.
Here on my blog I share the journey of transforming our ramshackle farmhouse full of flaking paint and musty smells into a family home. You'll also see lots of things I make for my little crafty venture Little Miss Emma. You'll hear my thoughts and see things I love: fashion, art, craft, interior design, blogs, photography and the fabulous people called my friends and my family.
