treasures: sage + grey

Is it just me or is it a huge trend right now to have loads of succulents, herbs like rosemary and sage, lambs ears and 'non-floral' type things in bridal bouquets? I'm a big fan, and with the stillness of winter seeming to settle in around me here on the farm I went a-hunting on Etsy for all things muted jade, sage and slate-toned.

You can see the treasury here. I wish I had somewhere to wear that beautiful vintage gown. Cinderella with no ball!

A few of these items have sold since I made this treasury, but you can see all of these and some more lovely items here.

treasures: winter's arrival

Is it just me or has winter suddenly appeared this week? It seems so sudden - one minute it's all barbeques and hot nights under the fan and now it's slow cooker meals and watching the footy under a blanket! This week here in Thorpdale up in the hills it seems we have been in a permanently misty, foggy, cloud of rain. Brrr...very wintery (and muddy!) My thoughts have turned to hot chocolates, knitted beanies and making soup. Can you tell?

Go here to check out my winter-chill busters.
