point + shoot
My weekend consisted of water, a lovely community run country market, an exhibition opening, water, some homemade pizzas, water, coffee making at the gallery, water and more water. Much of north east Victoria where I live is under water at the moment, including the irrigation flats here at Ythanbrae and the bridge on our road - I had to drive through two foot of water to get out yesterday! So have been stomping around in gumboots and wet weather gear as the calving season here rolls on.

{ Perfection }
The scene was set. I nestled into the wet grass to take the shot. The dandelion was perfectly formed, perfectly round, perfectly proportioned with afternoon sunlight streaming in from behind.
Then I heard a rustle.
A bounding rustle.
A bounding, big eared, black whirlwind, bouncy puppy 'rustle'.
Oh Tessa.
Back this afternoon with a better dandelion but not a cuter puppy, because one does not exist!

{ The Misadventures of Tessa }
Who knew one little puppy could have so much fun with one sheet of newspaper?
I was doing a bit of a spray-painting project this weekend, I left it to dry on some newspaper on the lawn. Looking out the kitchen window I see Tessa on the driveway literally doing backflips and running in circles. I go out to investigate and find her madly chasing a piece of escaped newspaper about in the swirling breeze.
Hours of entertainment apparently.
