the latest

I thought it about time I update you all on how the wedding plans are traveling. Well, at this point we have booked our band, as well as our videographer, which I am pretty excited about. We've also secured the church, which I couldn't be more happy with after the push and pull I felt about getting married in a church or on the farm. We're so happy that two friends will be taking our wedding photographs, two very talented friends in Lou and Ben. We have also booked the marquee and equipment hire (tables, stage, dance floor) after much debate about whether to go for the clear roof or silk lined marquee I finally decided on the silk lining for a truly romantic feel. Caterers quotes are coming in thick and fast and my spreadsheets are slowly but surely getting a few more highlighted yellow (meaning completed) tasks on them.

The most exciting news though? My mum recently returned from her trip to Greece and Turkey and managed to purchase the fabric for my wedding gown in the Istanbul Grand Bazaar. Yeah, that's how much my mum rocks.

It is proving quite tricky sharing details about our wedding day here on Cinderella at Brindabella as well as keep some details about the day under wraps (a lot of my family and friends read my blog - hi!) I am also very mindful of it being an intimate and very personal day for us and our families, so in the meantime I will keep teasing you all with the images which keep appearing on my inspiration radar. Enjoy xxx

I've just read a post by a blogger friend who had her family organise the entire wedding.
They had it no idea what was going to transpire but it looked like an absolutely AMAZING wedding.

How about that for a concept!?!?

Happy day,

Felicity xx
