I started blogging mostly to catalogue all the things I found on the web that I loved, lots of interior design things, fashion things, kids things, crafty things, pretty things. I also admired a lot of other bloggers and thought "I want to do that! I want to be like that!" At the time I was also trying to establish and grow my business, Little Miss Emma, and find my feet in a new town, new job, new house, new life.
The Little Miss Emma blog was all about corduroy pinafores, minky blankets, Ythanbrae, my life as a work from home crafter/photographer/nanny and crafty happenings in our little cottage.
Now, we no longer live in the cottage, I no longer will be dedicating myself to full time photography/nannying/Little Miss Emma as I have a full time job in the family business. Little Miss Emma I am hoping will continue to tick along nicely, but I am definitely going to have to take a step back as there is just not enough hours in the day *sigh*.
A few weeks ago Chantelle (and more recently Louise) mused on the topic of what's in a blog's name. Why did you name it what you did? Does it mean anything? Do you regret it? My blog was an extension of my business. I didn't regret naming it Little Miss Emma, but I did regret feeling that it all had to be business-like and sell, sell, sell all the time. I began the thought process behind what is now 'Cinderella at Brindabella'.
Our new home is a farm which adjoins the farm I grew up on, Pine Ridge, and also the farm my father grew up on, Ballina Park, which was purchased by my grandfather in 1947. Mr M and I have named where we live 'Brindabella' - more on that tomorrow...
The farmhouse we have moved into we have grand plans for. Well, let's just say 'plans' and not get too ahead of ourselves! It's a ramshackle of a place with a jungle garden, but just poking out from underneath the chippy paint and tangle of waist-high grass I know there is a diamond in the rough. Somewhat of a Cinderella.
So, I'm not sure if it's me or our house which is the Cinderella, but the long and the short of it is that is how the name change came about! You will notice my URL has changed to ellaatbella.com, please change all your bookmarks and links to me, although the old URL is redirected still. You can still find all my previous blog posts here so don't panic!
I hope you don't get too scared by change, I know I do sometimes, but really it's just like a bandaid, only painful for a milisecond :)

The more I read about your new place, the more of a great adventure it sounds! You certainly will be busy though with all of that going on!
