happy day daffodils

Have you survived the wild weather that hit Victoria last night?! Whoa, I was lying in bed counting all the trees that could possibly come crashing through the cottage at a puff of wind.

We had a friend up to Ythanbrae last night to watch Farmer Wants a Wife - yes we are obsessed and love to giggle at the silly girls trying to draft and drench sheep. At the very least it makes Mr M appreciate me as not being a squealing nightmare in the cattle yards! Although I think he is getting a bit perturbed by me screaming 'Marry me Farmer Charlie!' at the TV.

Speaking of the lovely Mr M, he brought me home some daffodils that have popped up here, down at the main homestead the dam wall is covered in happy yellowness. Such a cheery colour on such a grey and woolly day.

Stay warm x

what lovely flowers! so bright and cheery in this terrible weather.

i had my first cattle yard experience last week. apart from the near death experience where 4 fighting bulls came charging up the race, i apparently did really well and was not completely useless haha.

i am in central west nsw and sounds like we are all getting the same sort of weather.

I love 'The Farmer' too, and yell something similar at my telly... Hubby does not get the fascination at all!!

Daffs = Spring. It's coming!

I love FWAW too... I love the idea of city meets country and, let's face it, who can resist a cute country boy? This season they have stepped up the hunk factor so I'm loving it even more. x
