Last week my youngest niece Ava turned two. Happy birthday little Ava - all grown up now and a little girl. I painted some castle shaped raw pine blocks for her in pastel purples, greens and pinks, sealed them to make them shiny, made a little drawstring bag and popped them inside.
I also made her a little reversible skirt in some fabric I had been hanging onto for god knows how long - waiting for a certain project. Ava's mum, my sister, probably won't love the very girly florals but Ava is just so pretty and quiet and such a little girl I thought they would suit her.
Have a great weekend, we have a gallery opening to attend this evening...more on that next week.
