Every winter. Every single winter. When the weather gets cold, I feel the urge to pick up knitting needles. This is probably the case for many a crafty woman - problem is I can't knit. My poor crafty mother has tried in vain to wrestle my fingers around some needles but at the end of the day my left-handed goofiness won out. And then every winter I feel as if I should try again. And every winter I fail miserably. I just want to be able to pick up the needles, start click-clacking away like Mum and have perfect, neat stitches. Yeah, right.
What's not helping is my new discovery, MillaMia. Oh the cuteness of knitted cropped cardigans, colourful knitted dresses over tights and rainbow scarves. Perhaps I can attempt a scarf? Just a plain old scarf. Nothing fancy. Maybe. Or maybe I'll just email this link to my mum and she can whip something up and I can just pick out the wool I'd like...

Welcome back Emma! My Luce is left handed and I'm already wondering if it will be possible to teach her stuff like knitting. I'm sure there's a way! As for MillaMia - I've been drooling over their designs too. I especially love the idea of the green knitted dress. Yum!
I'm a hopeless knitter too :) My Nanna tried teaching me when I was a little girl - I was making a hot water bottle cover for Mother's Day - my Nanna ended up buying a cover for me to give my mum instead!! :) Maybe I'll give it a go again one day... I love that green dress above.
