I'm back from the beach - to this hideous, dry, inland heat that has descended upon us in Victoria. I just checked the barometre outside and it is 43 degrees. In the shade. At 11.30am. Ugh.
How was your weekend? Mine was busy, hot, but spent with my favourite kiddies at the beach. On Saturday I took photos of my friends two little stunners, Lulu (Luella) and Sassy (Saskia) on the beach at Frankston. I suppose I don't have to go on and on about how beautiful they are, it's fairly evident! They are moving to Papua New Guinea soon and we will miss them so much!
I then went down to Cowes at Phillip Island where my mum, sister and two nieces have rented out a house since Christmas. My nieces Scarlett and Ava were perfect little models for Aunty Em in the park. I love this shot of Scarlett in her pretty green dress hugging the tree - little greenie! Butter wouldn't melt in her mouth right? Pffft. Ava on the other hand much prefers to cruise around by herself - I like this one of her framed by the gum trees and long grass, such a little wanderer.
Was your weekend spent in the sun and sand like mine? Stay out of this sweltering heat today! Icy poles all round I think...

Hi Emma, glad you had a great break, I heard about your heatwave on the news this morning....poor you. These photos are amazing. Hope you had a great New Year and look forward to reading your blog in 2010.
