I have returned from a week at home in Gippsland spent with family and friends. I thought an entire week would be blissfully relaxed but the reality was we still ran around to dinners and family visits, booked up every day and night. Both mine and Mr M's parents are this year selling the family homes so we have arrived back to Ythanbrae with a car load of childhood toys and keepsakes to somehow stash in this tiny cottage. And a mountain of washing...and work! So much photography work!
Although it is {already!} late January, I am feeling a sense of new year only now that I have stopped to take a breath after finishing up at my day job, running around the countryside with Christmas and New Year weddings. Today is the first day of my new job. And I don't have a boss - that's me! Scary? Yes. Empowering - definitely! Now to knuckle down, buckle down do it, do it, do it!
Oh - and the photo? Not really relevant but a pretty Monday morning pick-me-up. It is from Holly's Interior Styling flickr group that I am a part of, and must be more active in {New Year's resolution!} The very talented photographer/stylist is Mochatini.
