Tis the season...for me to start my hunt for the perfect Christmas cards. You might remember I had my heart set on the sage cards - alas I couldn't get them in time as they had to mill more paper. I did some further research into seeded paper but then turned to the trusty etsy and oh boy look what I found! Here is just a selection of my favourites...which ones would you choose? All of them? Me too!
But what did I finally decide on? These letterpress beauties from rubypress - and because I still couldn't decide I got 8 of the Joy cards and 8 of the Noel cards. Last year I did a photo with our four dogs and us on the motorbike with a whole spiel about the year of 2008 at our new home Ythanbrae. But this year I am keeping it simple.
And this beauty is the one Mr M wanted...and I almost agreed with him. Almost. There are enough cattle/farming references in our lives thank-you very much.

Gosh, I think I would have picked those letterpress cards too. Letterpress wins for me any day. Thanks so much for featuring my cards amongst such a stunning set. Much appreciated.
They are all delicious! I did get a laugh from the "Insult Family & Leave in a Huff".
I know - how funny, and apt, and TRUE! Ah Christmas, like family, gotta love 'em. The logistics of getting my family to my mum's in Thorpdale is a nightmare - my mum should have a degree in negotiating.
