I am addicted. Absolutely addicted. To madeit of course - what else? I guess the first step is admitting I have a problem.
Pretty much every night Mr M laments "Get off madeit!" I think having our computer in the main living area is becoming a problem...
Today's Object of Desire should in fact be 'Objects' - plural. I just can't narrow down all my madeit finds so here is a little collection from my still crochet obsessed mind. You might love almost as much as I do...
1. Imagination Shop
2. Little People Clothing
3. Handsome
4. Pretties Etc.
5 & 6. Bugalugs Handmade

spring summer launch
Little Miss Emma can see the sun peeking through....can you??
Today is such a strange Victorian day...rain coming in sideways and terribly cold one minute, then the sun comes out and it's a brilliant Spring day?!
No matter - we know that the warmer months are just around the corner...so I have some summertime goodies in store for my lovely Little Miss Emma fans and followers. If you follow me on facebook you would have already seen the range being launched today (slowly but surely...)
I think the new products I love the most are the girls alligator hair clips...

My obsession with cupcakes continues - I can't help it! The Cupcake Pinafore, puff sleeve cupcake tshirt in watermelon and The Cupcake Twirly Skirt now available in both Little Miss Emma's madeit store and on my website.
I promise I am not forgetting the boys...I have already put up these red stripe shorts up for sale but there are lots more denim and nautical themed goodies coming throughout this week as I roll out the whole new range for Spring/Summer.
Yum vs. Yuk bibs are back by popular demand - this time as a set of two (one 'Yum' and one 'Yuk') and made from a stretchy white cotton with a ribbing for the neckline, easy to pop over little heads quickly! Great presents for baby showers as they are unisex :)

{ Spring Summer 2010 Launch }
I have some exciting news. Little Miss Emma is going into overdrive for the upcoming Spring/Summer of 2010-2011! It's going to be bigger, better, bolder and with more products that YOU have asked me for. (Thank-you for your suggestions and input).
If you are a fan on facebook you would already know that the new Little Miss Emma line is launching on Monday August 16th - and will continue throughout the following week as new products are revealed and put up for sale in both my madeit.com.au shop and my own website.
So hold onto your hats, move over Julia and Tony, Little Miss Emma for prime minister!

{ Stripemania }
I was pleasantly surprised to see this morning in my inbox the regular Made It email which showcases different handmade items usually centred around a theme. Today's was 'Stripemania' and my nautical themed canvas blocks were featured! Yay!
Have a happy and safe Easter, I'm off to the beach...back next week.

{ Truth Be Told }
Roaming around on Made It I found these whimsical illustrations by Jess Hyde, a Melbourne designer. Her Made It shop Truth.Be.Told is full of designs inspired by fashion illustration, sewing and muted tones {I am loving the pink and grey}. Here are a few of my favourites...
Isn't the last one just too cute? I would really like this as a print in our bedroom. It would be a great wedding, anniversary or Valentines present too.

{ I've Made It }
After much procrastination I have opened a shop on MadeIt.com.au - I guess what you would call the Australian version of Etsy. Little Miss Emma can be found at her new Aussie home here .
I am hoping this will bring a lot more local Aussies mums to discover Little Miss Emma. There are so many minky blanket sellers on Etsy - but most are in the US so have excessive shipping costs to us downunder. I make all my minky blankets right here in Victoria - and use the same type of minky they are using (either Benartex or Minky Delight).
So pop on over and be one of my first visitors... :)
